BlogforFT – Vote for Me Please
I was transferring and updating my old travel website when I saw a contest known as BlogforFT. The banner for this contest is everywhere (on those participating blogs).
My old travel website is expiring middle of December but I don’t want to continue the old-style website. I want to convert it to a blog using Wordpress… just like MBP.
So, since last Thursday… I spent most of my times transferring which required me to create new entries at my new travel theme blog, Kuala Lumpur City Guide. The title is still the same… only the domain name a bit different in hypen (old web is kuala-lumpur-city-guide.com, new blog kualalumpurcityguide.com). I own both domain names since 2005.
Back to BlogforFT contest. It’s actually a contest to encourage bloggers to write anything about the Federal Territories (Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan). Anything at all… history, culture, tourism, heritage, architecture etc. 
Bingo! That’s exactly what’s my travel blog is all about – tips of traveling in Kuala Lumpur! 
So, I’m throwing two birds with one stone. Update my travel blog and entering the contest at the same time. Who knows I would be a winner to any of the great prizes such as Peugeot 308 VTI, a Kia Optima 2.0, Naza Prisma motorcycles, Dell computers, Blackberry Bold, Sony PSP, Ipod Touch, flight tickets, hotel stays and cash!!!
The deadline for BlogforFT.com is 5hb January 2010, so I have about a month to create more entries. BlogforFT accept multiple entries, you see. The more you sent, the higher chances you’ll get.
Winners will be based on public votes (30%) and panel judges comprising of blogger-editors Ahiruddin Attan and Datuk Seri Wong Chun Wai, AirAsia CEO Datuk Seri Tony Fernandes and educationist Tan Sri Dr Lim Kok Wing.
So far, I have sent 90+ entries but only 83 been approved (some still pending and somes even been rejected..ha..ha).
Of all the entries, I want to focus on an entry titled Millenium Monument Putrajaya. Please vote for me?
