Christmas with our children…
Christmas is right around the corner and I know as a mother the stresses of this holiday season. Being a single mother of four children has been rough but very rewarding too.
Its hard for little ones to understand a mothers stress as we come upon christmas. The worry of gifts, decorations, stockings, and a good family dinner. Some people don’t have alot of money in the economy we live in today thus makes it rough on alot of parents.
My suggestion and meaning in writing this is to sit down with your children and remind them why we celebrate christmas. There is no need to feel overwhelemed, if we our selfs remember the many blessings that we have and share them with our children. There are many that are far off worse than us.
So to be thankful to just have a roof over our heads, food to eat, and clothing to wear, and health and our lifes should be blessings enough for any family. If your children are as great as mine Im sure your holidays will be great. A little tree and some presents, a small loving family dinner is all thats needed in this home. May you all have a blessed Christmas!
