7 Tips to Increase Traffic to your Blog
I would like to share the tips on ‘How to Increase the Traffic to your blog’. This is the tips from a beginner, who just started blogging actively for the past 4 months. So, I apologize if the tips given are not up to the standard. These tips are from my experience and reading other blogs, website and etc.
o You Want to Be Hot and Sensational like Me ( What I mean is your blog design. First Impression is really important especially to attract a new visitor to your blog. Good layout/design will make your reader more interested to read your. Make sure you did not put an annoying widget such as song, pictures that not related to your blog at the sidebar, and online watch.
2) Write the entry in your own way
Make your entry different from others so people can differentiate and feel in love with your entry/blog . They are more than 100 thousands blog in Malaysia and by being unique and different; more people might be interested to visit your blog . MomBloggersPlanet is really great with entry on Mom’s issue, BeautifulNara is really good with gossip about artist,and Redmummy is great base on the loyal readers and she has her own style of writing + something different that people look into.
3)Picture, picture and pictures
Do you like reading a long story in the blog? For me I don’t. Make reader feel easy to navigate your blog with a great picture and not feel tired by just reading your long entry. Furthermore, picture can represent a lot of meaning .Look at Kennysia, he wrote a simple and short entry but the pictures he put in his blog is really funny and good.
4) Comment at other blog
Maybe some of you already know about blogwalking or blogjoging right?I always spent some time when I am online,i.e. at night to do blogwalking especially for those that comment on my entry.
Leave a good comment at other people blog and don’t just be a silent reader. However, feel sincere about your comment and don’t just leave a comment such as “great entry, wow, good,or nice post”. Do you feel good when people leave those comments on your blog? Furthermore,when you leave a comment at other blog, the chances of those writer to return/visit your blog is 50%.It is a good probability already compared to 0% if you did nothing.No harm trying it right?
5)Make your reader feel easy to navigate your blog
For blogspot, it is good to have google search at your blog so it will be easier for your reader to find the entry that they find interesting. Different people, they have different style and need. Put a linkwithin widget is one of the good example to make your reader easier to navigate your blog.
6) Write a killer entry
This one you need to try and error.Using Nuffnang Analytic tools,you can check which entry that people like most.For myself, a ‘terjah’ segment to popular blogger is really a killer entry for me.Other than that, I received more visitors when I wrote about tips on Nuffnang i.e. First Cheque from Nuffnang, 7th Buffered Earning from Nuffnang and etc. I received my first 1,000 hits per day when I ‘terjah’ BeautifulNara and I think BeautifulNara like my entry as he put my entry on his blog.
7)Update,update, and update
No need for me to tell more.even a popular bloggers like BeautifulNara and Redmummy write and put at least one entry per day at their blog.Try to update it as frequent as possible but you must remember one rules ‘No entry is better than a bad entry’. Unless you have a very powerful aura like Hanis Zalikha or Kennysia, even you write one entry per week, a few thousand people will still visit your blog.

mama aqish, satu lagi yang penting tapi selalu orang tak buat ialah open komen pada semua orang termasuk anonymous.. lagi senang orang nak tinggal komen lagi bagus
frankly, i jarang tinggal komen kat blog yang tak bagi anon komen.. sebab malas nak login in Google or open ID semata nak komen.
mmg akan ada anon jahat yang tinggal komen tak best tapi itu sebenarnya menunjukkan blog kita ramai yg baca + apa yang kita tulis tu memberi impak maksima kepada si anon (kalau tak takkan dia nak komen kan..ha..ha)

wah2,congratz n good for me…We can make a side income money from Nuffnang..For myself,I got average RM100+ per month with Nuffnang but it is really a good start for me.Better than nothing rite?

Tips yang baik. Cuba juga nak buat enrty at least sekali sehari & tinggal komen kat mana-mana blog yang say singgah.
Tapi faktor masa yang selalu jadi penghalang. Follow other blogs pun dari google reader je.

Dari pandangn dan pemerhatian..
1. Gunakan personality kita untuk menarik pembaca.
2. Display gambar barang dan accessories yang mahal-mahal (bergantung kepada kaedah penulisan dan penyampaian, jangan sampai orang label kitaberlagak dan menunjuk-nunjuk)
3. Topik yang berfokus- Breastfeeding, craft, pet.
4. Kena kenal latar berlakang pembaca (golongan lelaki, ibu-ibu, maknyah, hahah)
5. Cerita pasal artist dan tampal gambar besar-besar.
6. Gossip dan masalah rumah tangga (orang suka baca!)

I nak kongsi pendapat tang point # 1 diatas,
masa yang diambil untuk buka (load) blog kita pun perlu diambil kira. sebab I selalu turn away dari blog yang selowww melooww sebab ‘berat’ dengan gambar2 yang tidak dikecilkan sizenya serta berbagai wigdet dan juga background music bagai…
kalau memang isikandung blog penuh informasi, i akan tunggulah, tp kalau sebaliknya, sekali tu shjlah I dtg menjenguknya. hehehhh
pointnya: terlampau berbagai widget dan tak tahu macamana nak urus (saiz gmbar yg besar2 dlm post atau sidebar) boleh menyebabkan pengunjung LARI juga. jangan sekadar cantik layout dan presentation…
