Anasfadilah, that’s the only word that greet me on the header when I visited Anasfadilah blog for this review. The header is quite nice and simple.
The owner used a Blogger Template “erni lucky cat” designed by herself! The white lucky cat on the header as well as in between content is sort of an icon for the blog.
The blog layout is a 3-columned with two sidebars, both positioned on the right side. The content space is on far left. On the right side, on top of both sidebars are some information about the owner and a cute owly banner of her sales blog, Kedai Chomel.
On the middle sidebar, there are a followers widget, facebook badge, twitter widget, a happy-o-meter, nuffnang ads, a poll and a banner. Whereas on the right sidebar, you can find the recent comments, a shoutbox, links to family blogs, links to mommy bloggers and others, some community, crafts and online shop banners, webpage referers and webstats.
I noticed the owner just recently changed her blog’s background to white, which is the best choice of color for content background. White is easy to the eye, thus making your blog easier to read.
Content wise, the owner is doing well for activity by keeping regular posting that attract and interest an already growing readership. The owner writes almost on daily basis her thoughts, updates on her Kedai Chomel, news on her little angel Ziyyad and just about anything that circle her life. All blog posts are also accompanied by relevant pictures, and more than one in most cases which adds to the interest and appeal of the blog.
However, navigation scores are hurting a bit. The standard navigation menus such as the Labels/Categories and Archive are no where to be seen. Adding these elements will make the blog a little easier to move around, and help readers to find a relevant older post in a jiffy.
I’m giving this blog 3 star rating out of 5. This blog get an average for content, uniqueness and appearance. The content is done with the personal voice you would expect in a personal blog.
Activity wise, the blog is doing well as there is a new blog post every day, so it get an excellent score. However, the navigation gets below average.

Here’s a suggestion of thing that I think the owner could do.
- Include the standard navigation menus especially the Labels/Categories and Archive in a ‘dropdown’ style. Both help the readers to find their way in the blog such as finding older posts etc.
- There are still many empty spaces on both sidebars (especially the middle one, scrolling down towards the bottom) and at the footer. The owner could utilized the empty spaces for Google Adsense (skyscraper/leaderboard ad format) or other things that she think would benefits her blog (and readers).
- To improve the content and uniqueness, the owner could consider adding more useful contents on subjects that she knows best. For example, tips on sewing or crafting, first time parenting, traveling with baby etc. Adding content other than stories about her personal life would make the blog more interesting.

dila, layout and komitment to the blog dah ada.. cuma part navigation tu… ari tu akak pegi nak cari post pasal tag “what i do for living” tu… pusing2 duk cari mana archive tak jumpa.. last2 kena click “older post” kat bawaaaah sekali tu..
