A Woman’s Weekly – Kids, Cakes and Coffee Talks, that’s the tagline that greeted me when I hopped on AWomansWeekly blog for this review. The tagline is written on a header of a beach scene with kids playing on the sand.

The owner used a WordPress theme by TemplateLite.com. The blog layout is a 2-columned with one sidebar on the left. On the sidebar, there are some information about the owner, a twitter button, nuffnang ads, categories, archives, recent posts, popular posts, links to favorite blogs and some banners.

The overall background is light olive green which blends well with white as the content background with black text.

Content wise, the owner is not updating her blog regularly. The owner writes about her childs, food, family and anything that relates to her life. All blog posts are accompanied by relevant pictures, and this is a good point for a blog.

I’m giving this blog 3 star rating out of 5. This blog is very easy to navigate with all the standards navigation menus like the archive, categories and recent posts are all in placed, so it gets excellent for navigation. Whereas, content, uniqueness, activity and appearance scores average.

Here’s a suggestion of thing that I think the ownner could do.

• The owner could consider using a 3-column template with 2 sidebars. Having two sidebars would make a blog looks neat.
• To improve the content and uniqueness, the owner could consider adding more useful contents on subjects that she knows best. And, update the blog on regular basis.
