If you noticed, in the last few days, the Google Friend Connect Bar on MomBloggersPlanet was not showing any followers/members at all.
The Google Friend Connect did not appear and was showing a blank, empty white box. This happen in all web browsers that I use… Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox.

Perhaps, some web browser updates triggered the dissapearance of my Google Friend Connect, making it totally unseen. ![]()
Seems that it is a normal hiccup for WordPress blog, so don’t freak out!
There is a solution for this.
To fix a blank Google Friend Connect (GFC) bar, just copy the following code above the Google Friend Connect code and voila!

Here’s a screenshot how to place the fix code above your Google Friend Connect code.

The Google Friend Connect bar will be smiling back at you! ![]()

We have been looking for this fix for some time. Now if we could find out why this is happening especially in FireFox maybe Google could produce the final cure.
This did not start occurring until Google moved from using the files that needed to be FTP’d and started using the new code.
Any insight as to where you got this code from? We will be linking to you next week after we try this fix out so expect some traffic from my sites if this works out in our testing.
Glad to see this, this could be vary valuable to thousands. – Chris
