Many mom bloggers are complaining that their blog visitors are not many. The number of readers is so small that making money with Nuffnang or other means seem so far to grasp.

Okey. There are many ways on increasing blog readers. But, I’m not going to chat about that today.

Besides writing entries in your blog frequently, you also need to ‘advertise’ your blog to the public. How to do that? Just submit your blog URL to the following blogger directories.

Blog Tutorial – How to Expand Blog Width (Part 1)

I got a comment from Catlina the other day in my last HTML tutorial on headings. This mommy blogger asked how to customised the width of her middle content.

In other words, she would like to expand the width of her blog post section (middle content) and make it wider.

Learn HTML Tutorial – Headings

HTML has six levels of headings, from 1 to 6 – with 1 being the largest. Headings are usually displayed in larger and/or bolder fonts than the normal body text.

The first heading in each document should be tagged <H1>.

The syntax of the heading element is:

<Hy> Text of your heading </Hy>

where y is a number between 1 and 6 specifying the level of the heading.

I will be writing a series of HTML tutorials from now on. Learning and undestanding HTML is very important if your would like to play around with your blog template and coding.

Getting to know some basic HTML will help you tweak (change) your blog layout a little especially the background color and navigation structure.
