Here are the steps need to be taken to register a business online.

Decide a Business Name – make sure the name does not contain any prohibited word (Part 2)
Create an account with Malaysia Government Portal known as myGovernment (Part 3)
Register as SSM Subscriber (Part 3)
Apply for Business Name Approval (Part 4)
Register your business (Part 5 – this tutorial).

Decide a business name
Register with myGovernment portal
Register as SSM Subscriber

The next thing to do is to APPLY for your business name to be approved. This is necessary because use of certain words are prohibited (see part 2 tutorial).
