Andai Ku Capai Si Pelangi, Akan Ku Serah Kepada Mu, Agar Kau Dapat Mewarnai Seluruh Hidup Nanti … that’s the tagline that I read upon checking Firahadifa blog for this review. The tagline is written together with the owner’s name on a very simple and plain header.

The owner used a Blogger Template by Pyzam. The blog layout is a 2-columned with one sidebar on the right. On the sidebar, there are nuffnang ads, a poll, some banners, some information about the owner, links to favorite blogs, a shoutbox and a label widget.

The overall background is light blue with maroon and pink text for content.

Content wise, the owner is not updating her blog regularly. The owner writes about her baby, family and anything that relates to her life. Some blog posts are accompanied by relevant pictures which is a good point for a blog.

I’m giving this blog 2 star rating out of 5. This blog gets above average for content and uniqueness. Whereas, activity, appearance and navigation scores below average.

Here’s a suggestion of thing that I think the ownner could do.

• The owner could consider using a 3-column template with 2 sidebars. Having two sidebars would make a blog looks neat as the owner could use one sidebar to display nuffnang ads, polls and banners. And, the other sidebar for Archive, Label and links to favorite blogs.
• The owner could consider creating a new logo (header). The current one is too simple and plain. A header is the FIRST thing someone see when visiting your blog. So, it’s important to make it interesting and unique because it’s like giving a personality to your blog. Properly designed logo make your blog looks great to visitors.
• Since the content background is light blue, the owner could consider using all black for the content instead of mixing with maroon and pink. If possible, find a template that use white as the background.
• Navigation could further be improved by adding an archive widget and move the label widget further up on the sidebar. This could make reading through the blog easier.
• Friends update with snippets of recent post and icons are taking lot of spaces on the left sidebar. Since the owner has lots of friends, it’s advisable to untick the options and change to show only the title of recent post and date. The icons are taking so much spaces on the sidebar and makes the blog looks imbalance.
• To improve the content and uniqueness, the owner could consider adding more useful contents on subjects that she knows best. And, update the blog on regular basis.
