Love is in the air…. as always, that’a the tagline that greeted me upon checking Fozalin blog. Besides the tagline, a note to her soulmate is clearly written on the header with pictures of her son.
The owner used a Blogger Template Style Minima by Douglas Bowman. The blog layout is a 2-column with one sidebar on the right. On the sidebar, there are a cute clock, some information about the owner, some banners, follower widget, blog archive, nuffnang, happy-o-meter, some pictures of her son Wafiq, shoutbox, links to favorite blogs and online shops and labels.
The owner use white for the background which is the best color for any blog or website. It’s a good idea to stick to white because it’s easy to the eye. And, most big and succesful websites like Yahoo and Google also use white because of the same reason. Easy to read.
Content wise, the owner is doing good for activity by keeping regular posting although it’s not on daily basis. The owner writes mostly about her baby, family, personal life, friends, contest and other stuff. All blog posts are also accompanied by relevant pictures, and more than one in most cases which adds to the interest and appeal of the blog.
I’m giving this blog 3 star rating out of 5. This blog gets above average for content and uniqueness. Whereas, activity, appearance and navigation scores average.

Here’s a suggestion of thing that I think the ownner could do.
- The owner could consider using a 3-column template with 2 sidebars. Having two sidebars would make a blog looks neat as the owner could use one sidebar to display the pictures of her son and banners. And, the other sidebar for Archive, Label and linkc to favorite blogs.
- Navigation could further be improved by moving the Archive and Label/Category further up on the sidebar.
- To improve the content and uniqueness, the owner could consider adding more useful contents on subjects that she knows best. Adding more content such as stories about her experiences on motherhood things could be a reference to other mommies. This would make the blog stands out from other mommy blog out there.
