It’s not easy being a blog…
I want to be a place you share your stories, but I want to keep some privacy and don’t want to expose too much. I want to always have things to say, but I know sometimes you don’t have time to update me. I want to be attractive, but without too much color or unnecessary widgets. I want to be popular, but not for the wrong reasons!

See, it’s not easy being a blog!

It’s not easy being a blog…
Everyday I have to speak. Speak speak speak. Yak yakkity yak. Incessant chatterings about your daily life. Sometimes, help me take a break – you can put up just pictures, share a link or a single quote. It’s still interesting when you do it right!

It’s not easy being a blog…
However, I still want to appear smart – with a lot of interesting things to say, exciting stories to share. However, sometimes you simply write a few words about an uneventful day which makes me look so boring!

It is better to take a day off from writing, rather than write everyday with nothings! If you make an effort to write well, readers will reciprocate with a lot of comments and repeat visits!

It’s not easy being a blog…
I want to look good. I need a little make-up, sun-screen or bedak sejuk. Occasionally trim my moustache, or rip out my black-heads. Please fill me with colorful pictures that further illustrate your stories.

However, too much mascara, and blusher on thick foundation and I might look like a clown. So go easy on my make-over. I know once you see how easy it is to add widgets to your blog, you tend to over-do it and add too many gizmos and gadgets!

You want polls, weather reports, showcasing most recent comments, mood graphics, MP3 player of your favorite songs that nobody else might want to listen to, and anything cute that sparkles, and blinks. Pick and choose wisely, and add only widgets you need and is relevant to me!

It’s not easy being a blog…
I want to stand out. Use words, graphics, pictures or just catchy blog titles – I want to attract attention. If you don’t make an effort, I would be like so many other ordinary blogs. Readers would pass me over because I don’t stand out like a Facebook page or Mombloggersplanet!

Although I can say a lot of things, I’m really very shy. Really! So you must help introduce me to your friends. Do visit other blogs and leave your link or drop constructive comments so that your friends would want to visit me!

It’s not easy being a blog…
I know a little bit of sensational stories now and then will make me popular, but I do not want just empty gossips about other people’s life. I also need to be filled with helpful information, beneficial tips and links to where to get them. So do google and do a little homework for your readers.

It’s not easy being a blog…
You expect me to take messages in the comment space, but you don’t reply to them! How can you expect them to come back to comment more? Also, you put word verification which discouraged some to leave comments. It can get very lonely for me without interaction with other bloggers…

It’s not easy being a blog…
You want a lot of people to read me, but you’ve been keeping me quiet for so long, without any new updates! If I don’t have new stories to share, nobody would come and visit me. If I keep quiet for too long, people would even stop visiting me! Then who am I going to talk to?

It’s not easy being a blog…
I want to be famous, but I don’t want to tell other people too much about my life because you never know who might be reading your blog and use those stories to do bad things. So keep your personal stories to yourself, especially about your spouse, your parents, your employer or your work place. Do not expose sensitive information like the street where you live, or IC number!

It’s not easy being a blog…
So please do take good care of me, and consider my feelings – you’ll be rewarded with high traffic, many new-blogger-friends made and self-satisfaction of writing well, and providing helpful info to other bloggers as well!

nak jadi famous? digi ni launch program baru utk kita jadi famous.. http://www.digi.com.my/prepaidsoeasy insert gambar utk photo atau video dan gambar tu akan dipaparkan di dalam banner digi di yahoo, msn,..

Betul tu.. It is not easy..Kadang2 nak je kita cite semua benda..tapi kene juga pk sensitiviti orang lain..terutama readers yang mungkin kita tak tahu akan terasa hati..

Tapi ada orang kata “Blog aku, suka aku la nak tulis apa”.. So terpulang masing2 la..Asalkan tak menyusahkan orang lain..
