Make Money Online – My Experience with Google Adsense & Nuffnang

I learned that internet is a source to make money since 1998. Back then, I was still a student in UM. Internet was a new thing and it was hot to have a Hotmail account…ha..ha.

But, my internet access was so limited. I was staying with my eldest brother (so no need to pay hostel or house rent, save money maaah!) and his house is near Taipan, USJ. There is an internet cafe there where I always spent 2-3 hours on weekends.

The first online money making opportunity that I joined was SFI. It was a US based online MLM company. Well, it was free to join but afterwards, I was lured to buy the recommended products such as ebooks. And, also joined the useless International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs (IAHBE).

IAHBE is created to give you a sense of belonging but the fee is on monthly basis. I only subscribed for one month before I stopped. There was not much benefits anyway.

SFI is a MLM type of business where you are required to recruit more people to earn money. A typical MLM! There was an Eagle Coop where you can buy bulk email address which they claim as opt-in emails. But, I was frustrated because most of email addresses didn’t exist. The purpose of buying email addresses was to persuade people to join SFI under you. Heck, I was cheated!

After SFI, I also tried many so called easy money making online opportunies which most of it are scams. From there, I learned what is internet is all about – of what are lies and what are the real money making opportunities.

There is no such thing as get rich quick on the internet. Most are scams that trick you to spend some money but get nothing in returns.

Well, there are proven ways of money making online. But, these require some efforts from you. Google Adsense and Nuffnang are some of the proven ways to make money online.

I have been making money with Google Adsense since 2007. Back then, I was also sceptical about whether Google Adsense is a real making money online opportunity.

So, I build a website and ‘tested‘ Google Adsense. It took me 4 months to get my first Google Adsense check amounting to USD134.69 (RM500+). I was so elated with joy. Because it’s proven that Google Adsense is really paying.

Since then, I do a lot of testing with my niches traditional websites. Some failed and closed out for good, but I still keep 2 websites for Google Adsense purpose.

From 2007 until now, I have made THOUSANDS of US dollar from Google Adsense. Sounds unbelievable? Just wait for my next entry on Google Adsense and you will see the proof.

As for Nuffnang, I only joined this blog advertising community about a year ago, the same day MomBloggersPlanet was born. I’m still in the ‘testing’ phase with Nuffnang but it’s good to know that Nuffnang pays on timely basis. So far I have made about RM1,000+ cash and won RM5,000+ worth of goodies/holiday package from Nuffnang. Isn’t that great?

There are a few Nuffnang competitors like Advertlets and Innity, but they got so many problems and complaints especially on the payment part. Perhaps, I will write about Advertlets and Innity sometime soon.

* I have just cash out my latest Google Adsense income and planning to buy a Nikon D90 DSLR Camera. The balance would be enough as pocket money for our trip to Hong Kong Disneyland this March!

i think adgitize is also a competitor.. you will lose Gliterati status if you place their code together with nuffnang

eyriqazz, true.. google adsense lebih menguntungkan kalau blog Bahasa Inggeris sebab lebih banyak pengiklan dari US dan Eropah.. tapi kita masih boleh letak adsense kat blog melayu coz ada pengiklan dari malaysia dan indonesia (tapi bahasa kena jaga, tak boleh telalu banyak bahasa pasar atau rojak, nanti tak keluar iklan)

dbalkis, you need a passion and something to motivate you.. everyone has 24 hours a day.. but not everyone manage their time well so kena pandai prioritise

ada certain things yang kita perlu put on hold or let go supaya kita dapat guna masa for blogging.. example lah..I usually sleep at 12am every weekday so I can have extra hours after my baby sleep to do my stuff online.. compare dgn orang yg tidur pukul 9pm vs 12am.. dah berapa jam i ada?

yang penting you must know how to identify activity yang membazir masa… macam tengok wayang 3 hours, watch astro movies, bergosip di telefon, melepak, too much blogwalking, termenung etc.. bukan tak boleh buat tapi kalau betul2 nak buat duit you have to put all that on hold first

wow…$100+ in 4 months with GA is quite an achievement. I’ve been with GA for 3 years only get $4+, quite a dissapointment.

I love nuffnang, I just get my first RM1 today, afte 2 weeks joined it.
