My First Thousand With Nuffnang

Hi folks,

The year 2009 is coming to the end. Wish you all Happy Holiday especially to members who are celebrating this year-end festive.

Have you make a light reflection of what you’ve been through this whole year, and are you ready for new challenges 2010 has for you?

Just to share with everyone that this very month is my personal blog’s first anniversary. Although I have been blogging for 5 years but 2009 is a very significant year in my blogging diary. My very own self domain started to generate money!

I had registered with Nuffnang about 2 years ago (my old blog) without knowing what Nuffnang was (just like some of us do!) and how potential it was to bring money into my pocket. Until when I decided to put Nuffnang ads in My Super Kids, I found out that I was actually has RM35 in my Nuffnang account! So the rest is history.

This December, the total payment I got from Nuffnang is RM1000+! However, I cashed it out everymonth so comes to this month it is not a RM1000 cheque So no way to Y.E.S.

To tell you the truth, I am not a super-blogger like the other that you know (Little Mama perhaps?) but I can make money from my blog with Nuffnang. Even if it is not much but it really worth when you do something you passionate about, and you get some benefit from it (other than to vent out your feelings).

There is nothing impossible for you too to generate income by blogging. What you need is a good blog with high traffic. You don’t have to be another Little Mama or Daphne Iking to gain popularity so that visitors keep on coming to your site. Just be yourself, find your niche and keep your passion in writing up. There’s no way a nicely decorating blog to get many visitors without regular update.

So, attract your readers with:

Choose the right and easy-to-navigate template. Don’t mess your blogs with heavy items such as large header, audio player, heavy-colorful background, etc.
Involve in others blogs and community. Leave smart/too stupid comments and make the blog owners and their readers excited to know who’s behind the intelligent or stupid comment.
Join forums and put your blog URL as signature.
If you are new to the blogosphere, disable comment in your blog. It is discouraging to see ‘0 comment’ ain’t it?
Put others links in your blog. New readers may see that you’re somebody in the blogosphere.

Remember the keyword, if real estate investors talk about location, location, location, bloggers talk about traffic, traffic, traffic!

Maybe you should get a pen and jot down your determination for more profitable blog in 2010
