Enjoying my life in every way, that the tagline that greeted me upon checking MyLilDreamz blog. Besides the tagline, the title of the blog and a note to her soulmate is clearly written on the header.
The header is rather big because the owner include a few pictures of her baby as well as a wedding photo.
The owner used a Blogger Template Style Minima by Douglas Bowman. The blog layout is a 2-columned with one sidebar on the right. On the sidebar, there are nuffnang ads, a poll, some information about the owner, birthday & anniversary tickers, links to other blogs, archive and stats counter.
The overall background is light pink with black and purple text for content.
Content wise, the owner is doing good for activity by keeping regular posting although it’s not on daily basis. The owner writes mostly about her baby, breastfeeding, contest, her soulmate, diet n fitness, friends, gadget, women stuff and more. All blog posts are also accompanied by relevant pictures, and more than one in most cases which adds to the interest and appeal of the blog.
I’m giving this blog 3 star rating out of 5. This blog gets above average for content and uniqueness. Whereas, activity, appearance and navigation scores average.

Here’s a suggestion of thing that I think the ownner could do.
- The owner could consider resizing the header’s height by rearranging the photo neatly side by side. This can help filling in the empty spaces in the left and right side of the current header.
- Since the content background is light pink, the owner could consider using all black for the content instead of mixing with purple. And, also try using white for the background as well.
- Navigation could further be improved by using a “Dropdown Menu” style for archives and categories. Showing these in “Dropwdown” style looks neat and open for more space for something else.
- Comment to include “Anyone – includes Anonymous User’”. This will allows anyone without a blog to make a comment. And, anyone with own blog domain like myself would feel very welcome to leave a comment too as I can leave my blog URL directly instead of having to login to Google account or Open ID for that purpose.
- To improve the content and uniqueness, the owner could consider adding more useful contents on subjects that she knows best. For example, tips on breastfeeding, diet n fitness, blog tutorial etc. Adding more content other than stories about her personal life would make the blog stands out from other mommy blog out there.
