Having a brief stint working from home, I realised that a WAHM must possess criterias below in order to stay creditable, discipline and able to stay productive both for work and family:

Must-Have Criterias

Discipline
We have to be discipline if we want to be trusted by our bosses/client and our family too. When we are working from home, we have to be able to deliver our work on time as how we would be expected to be doing when we are working from office. We should stick to our deadlines and time-table as much as possible. At the same …

Hi folks,

As promised, I would like to shed some thoughts of the challenges faced by a WAHM and WAHM’s kids.

In the olden days, that is during our parents’ generation, it is a common sight to see women working from home doing various jobs ranging from being a babysitter, a tailor, or a baker making cookies, cakes and etc.

In current generation, women who work from home have new entrants, i.e. women who used to work in multi-national companies or MNCs and were holding good position, great income after spending years pursuing their studies and enjoying a high-flying career.…

I like to share about the life being a child of a Work at Home Mom(or Dad) a.k.a WAHM. This is based on my own personal experience being brought up by a WAHM and WAHD(dad) as well as from my observation from the people around me.

When I was very young(before I started nursery at the age of 5), I used to be cared by my grandparents. Then from the moment I am five, my mom started to work from home doing tailoring/sewing to cared for the four of us.

Well, I'm here to tell you that it may be all three of these. It may be none. Or, more likely, some combination.
