I started drafting the site concept for MomBloggersPlanet.com about six months ago. And, the initial plan was to go live by December 2008.
But, the plan was not realised. Due to some unforeseen extra office workloads that required me to work extra hours at home, focusing on my personal project is quite impossible.
It was difficult deciding a platform for this website. First, I looked at Joomla. But, I was totally lost with Joomla. It took me weeks to familar myself with it.
At some point I was so frustrated with it. Then, it dawned on me.. why not use something that I already familiar with? Why not use WordPress?
So, I revert back to WordPress. There are tons of free templates available. But, none satisfied the professional look and feel that I want for MomBloggersPlanet.com.
One day I stumbled upon a WordPress website that have the particular look & feel that I was desperately looking for. This is how I found Solostream and fall in love with it.
The package was easily customised. And, with my knowledge in HTML and CSS, making the look and feel the way it is now is as easy as ABC.
