One of the most exciting parts for bloggers is comment in their entry. This time, I would like to share the tips on how to increase the comments in your blog/entry. This tips is from a beginner (myself) and suitable for a beginner. So, if the tips are not up to the standard, apologize for it.
Comment Tips
Is it really important to see readers leave comment in our entry? For me, the newbie in blogging world, it is important to see the comment in my entry.I t will be a motivation for me to write, keep up on writing and express my feeling. It feel that people really like my entry and appreciate it even I write a long entry.
This are the tips that I did based on my personal experience, read other people blog and asking an experience bloggers :
1) Disable word verification
Earlier on, I put a word verification to safeguard my entry from Spam. However, when I read the tips given by Melromeo in his blog,I found out that the word verification make people become less interested to comment, difficult to comment and sometimes waste their time (especially when they key in a wrong word verification) . When I disable word verification in my blog , I received more comment than I used to receive when I put word verification.
2)Give and take
Before we want to receive, we should give right? I think this is the proper way. If we want people to respect us, we must respect them first. Try to leave a comment in other people entry but make sure you give a good comment and not just ‘nice entry, good entry,and great tips’. InsyaAllah, they will appreciate it and return back the favour.
3) Reply to Comment
Build a relationship with your reader. If possible, reply to a comment especially for those that asking a question. Sometimes, readers will come back to see if you reply their comment. They will feel more interested to visit your blog in the future when you reply to their comment as you communicate with them .For myself, apologize for it. As a busy father/full time worker, I only able to reply to the comment that in question mark. However, I will still visit their blog when I am free even it take me one month after that entry.
4) Save and Win
Hahaha,this one I ‘syok sendiri’ ( just do what I want to do).What I did, I put moderation comment but without word verification.I wait until I received more than 5 comment then I will publish it. Psychologically, people become more interested to comment when a lot of people leave a comment in that entry.
5) Question in your entry
Put a question in your entry especially for a long entry. I usually put it at the end of my entry so as when people want to comment, at least they know what writer want them to comment.

at times mmg rasa keciwa if the good blog post mcm tak de org baca je..sebab takde yg tinggal komen, but then again if dah lama blogging, there are actually silent readers yg loyally follow our blog..sometimes they are too busy to leave comment, or maybe better tak de komen dari tinggal komen yg tak bermanfaat..hehe..
but anyway, I think instead of word verification utk elak spam tu, should enable moderator verification..i believe that kalo org tu mmg serius nak komen kat post kita, suruh verify mcm mana pon dia akan buat jugak..

MQ, u r rite.Moderator verification is better.Itu yg saya buat.boleh elak spam juga.Haah,kalau sungguh2 nak komen word verification ada pun akan dikomen, namun tersilap letak word, rasa dah kurang mood nak mengomen.
