I know it has been almost 2 months since the beginning of the year 2010. Many bloggers have posted flashback entries of their blogging journeys in 2009. I think I’m a bit late in doing so, but better late than never, right? Let’s see what I have achieved with MomBloggersPlanet in 2009, shall we? 
I registered domain name MomBloggersPlanet.com and created a hosting account with Hostgator.com on 19th August 2008. MomBloggersPlanet was officially launched on 1st January 2009 together with Blog Directory and The Market Place (free listing of personal mom blogs and online shops respectively).
It took a few months of planning, tweaking blog layout in WordPress (messing with HTML, CSS and PHP codes), learning/tweaking Noah Classified program coding and testing. Yup, I did it all alone! 
Everything you see and enjoy on MomBloggersPlanet didn’t come for free. It’s all from my sweet yummy marshmallows – personal cash and sleepless nights.
So, I’m happy that MomBloggersPlanet has achieved it’s purpose to unite Malaysian mom bloggers and made many of you happy as well. I’m sure you have great time winning so many fabulous prizes and meeting new blogger friends, here at MomBloggersPlanet.

I have also accepted advertising on MomBloggersPlanet from direct advertisers. Total income from Direct Advertiser Dedicated Advertorial in 2009 was RM4.6k. Those are accumulated yummy marshmallows that I ate only for specific purpose either to finance my new projects and to cover back all the initial expenses of MomBloggersPlanet.
Besides organising all the contest, I was also busy with a few special MomBloggersPlanet programs such as:

In 2009, I entered a few blog contests and won RM550 from Weblog Popular 1 Malaysia SEO Contest, prizes worth RM450 from Nuffnang Project Alpha Contest and holiday package worth RM5,000+ from Nuffnang Friso Gold Family Day Contest (result was announced in early January).
I also participated in events such as MSK Get-2-Gather Potluck & Picnic at Taman Tasik Shah Alam, Nuffnang Friso Family Day Out at Kizsports 1-Utama and DiGi Internet Pimp My Day Challenge at 1 Utama.
And, to celebrate MBP 1st Anniversary, together with MBP Ambassadors and MBP Comittees, we successfully held a fun mom bloggers gathering on 24th January 2010. Eventhough, it’s in 2010 but planning and ground works have been carried on since 2009, so I thinks it’s good to include it as well.
It was a half-day event full with fun activities, lots of great prizes and delicious food for about 42 mom bloggers families! 
Waaah, that was a very long list of achievements. I think I need a pat on the back and long break..ha..ha.. After one year and 2 months, MomBloggersPlanet.com has some numbers that can be proud of.
